Ramadhan ~

Ku mengharapkan ramadhan kali ini penuh makna...
Agar dapat ku lalui dengan sempurna..

kalau seminggu start tak update, mmg berminggu2 lah tak update blog ni..

Dalam sebulan ni, banyak yg terjadi kat dunia tempatan ni yg kita sendiri tak pasti apekah yg tersirat di sebalik semua ni.. penyakit, kematian dan kegilaan manusia..

Membuatkan saya lebih kerap berfikir tentang kehidupan dan kematian..

Saya mengalami krisis dalam diri tentang perkara2 yang saya baca, ilmu2 yang saya dpt, dan bagaimana untuk di aplikasi dalam kehidupan dunia yg mempunyai populasi yg dah sgt jauh tersasar.. yg akhirnya membuatkan saya lebih suka senyap..berfikir.. dan berfikir..

kesudahannya, saya masih belum dapat apa yg saya mahukan.. tapi saya rasa, maybe i just need to follow the flow, semoga jalan yang saya tempuhi adalah jalan yang lurus..walaupun banyak yg saya buat bukanlah apa yg tepat utk saya lakukan :(

What can I do?

What can I do to protect myself from catching influenza A(H1N1)?

The main route of transmission of the new influenza A(H1N1) virus seems to be similar to seasonal influenza, via droplets that are expelled by speaking, sneezing or coughing. You can prevent getting infected by avoiding close contact with people who show influenza-like symptoms (trying to maintain a distance of about 1 metre if possible) and taking the following measures:

  • avoid touching your mouth and nose;
  • clean hands thoroughly with soap and water, or cleanse them with an alcohol-based hand rub on a regular basis (especially if touching the mouth and nose, or surfaces that are potentially contaminated);
  • avoid close contact with people who might be ill;
  • reduce the time spent in crowded settings if possible;
  • improve airflow in your living space by opening windows;
  • practise good health habits including adequate sleep, eating nutritious food, and keeping physically active.

What about using a mask? What does WHO recommend?

If you are not sick you do not have to wear a mask.

If you are caring for a sick person, you can wear a mask when you are in close contact with the ill person and dispose of it immediately after contact, and cleanse your hands thoroughly afterwards.

If you are sick and must travel or be around others, cover your mouth and nose.

Using a mask correctly in all situations is essential. Incorrect use actually increases the chance of spreading infection.

How do I know if I have influenza A(H1N1)?

You will not be able to tell the difference between seasonal flu and influenza A(H1N1) without medical help. Typical symptoms to watch for are similar to seasonal viruses and include fever, cough, headache, body aches, sore throat and runny nose. Only your medical practitioner and local health authority can confirm a case of influenza A(H1N1).

What should I do if I think I have the illness?

If you feel unwell, have high fever, cough or sore throat:

  • stay at home and keep away from work, school or crowds;
  • rest and take plenty of fluids;
  • cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing and, if using tissues, make sure you dispose of them carefully. Clean your hands immediately after with soap and water or cleanse them with an alcohol-based hand rub;
  • if you do not have a tissue close by when you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth as much as possible with the crook of your elbow;
  • use a mask to help you contain the spread of droplets when you are around others, but be sure to do so correctly;
  • inform family and friends about your illness and try to avoid contact with other people;
  • If possible, contact a health professional before traveling to a health facility to discuss whether a medical examination is necessary.

Should I take an antiviral now just in case I catch the new virus?

No. You should only take an antiviral, such as oseltamivir or zanamivir, if your health care provider advises you to do so. Individuals should not buy medicines to prevent or fight this new influenza without a prescription, and they should exercise caution in buying antivirals over the Internet.

What about breastfeeding? Should I stop if I am ill?

No, not unless your health care provider advises it. Studies on other influenza infections show that breastfeeding is most likely protective for babies - it passes on helpful maternal immunities and lowers the risk of respiratory disease. Breastfeeding provides the best overall nutrition for babies and increases their defense factors to fight illness.

When should someone seek medical care?

A person should seek medical care if they experience shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, or if a fever continues more than three days. For parents with a young child who is ill, seek medical care if a child has fast or labored breathing, continuing fever or convulsions (seizures).

Supportive care at home - resting, drinking plenty of fluids and using a pain reliever for aches - is adequate for recovery in most cases. (A non-aspirin pain reliever should be used by children and young adults because of the risk of Reye's syndrome.)

Should I go to work if I have the flu but am feeling OK?

No. Whether you have influenza A(H1N1) or a seasonal influenza, you should stay home and away from work through the duration of your symptoms. This is a precaution that can protect your work colleagues and others.

Can I travel?

If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of influenza, you should not travel. If you have any doubts about your health, you should check with your health care provider.

Makan!

Disebabkan saya adalah seorg yg sentiasa melekat d rumah, jgn lah hairan kalau sy takde aktiviti lain selain memasak. Ini lah hasil kerja org2 yg takde keje mcm saye n kakak. Hasilnya? kami akan makan,makan dan makan.. Semestinya, saya takkan gemuk untuk acara makan. Tapi mungkin kakak saye lain pulak citernye..hikhik.. Saya rase die perlu bersenam utk menslimkan kembali body nya,lalala~

Kelmarin kami buat chocolate cake & tadi kami buat chocolate chip cookies..cake nya sudah habis kami makan, cookies nya belum..

kami akan teruskan masak,masak dan masak, then..makan,makan dan makan..
ataupun,
kami akan teruskan beli, beli dan beli...di pasar malam

I just changed my blog layout after 2 months using the previous one. Senang saje nk tuka layout, saye gune link ini http://btemplates.com/ --> sesiapa yg nak layout cantik2 boleh pegi link tu..tp sometimes kne pandai2 edit html nye sendiri..mengikut citarasa masing2 kalau tak puas hati dgn yg sedia ada :)

Weekend ni nak balik kampung,yeayyy!! dah 2 years tak balik kampung. N esok ada judicium 2 kat Unpad,Jatinangor but as i mentioned earlier in my older post, i'm not going to attend this event.. i wish all my friends the very best of luck n semoga dpt result best2 :) good luck utk saye juge..:)

Esok nisfu syaaban.. tak sangka dlm 15 hari lagi kite sume akan masuk ke bulan ramadhan yg penuh keberkatan. N setelah sekian lama saya tak puasa kat rumah,akhirnya tahun ni saya boleh puasa kat rumah. rasenye dah 5 or 6 years jugak saya tak penah spend masa lebih dr 3hari puasa kat rumah, tahun ni ade la dlm almost 2weeks kot puase kat rumah. boleh pegi bazaar ramadhan yg dah 3 tahun xpenah pegi,x sabar!

Entry bulan puasa better buat waktu bulan puasa kan??hehe.tersemangat lah pulak.. ok2 saye stop dulu. Skrg saya nak tgk cd dgn kakak. kakak saye tak tgk lagi cite laskar pelangi, dah berhari2 saye paksa dia tgk, akhirnya hari ni berjaye jugak memakse. ok la bye sume!! :)

Keberkatan lebih penting dari kekayaan :)

Salam..
Dah lame tak update blog since balik hari tu.. actually saye plan taknak update lgsg sebulan ni, tp sy tgk kwn2 saye pun jrg update.. saye takde bahan bacaan.hihi. saye pun takde cite sgt sbnrnye, saye tak bosan pun cuti setakat ni, sbb dah setahun tak balik kot. Hari ni saye nk cite psl rabbit, mee laksa, and kenduri kahwin :) pendek je la tapi..hehehe

Btw, tajuk di atas saye amek dari tajuk tazkirah Dr Fadzilah Kamsah kat radio Era. I really like the title. Isi pun saye sgt suke. Keberkatan itu mmg jauh lebih penting dari kekayaan. Saya harap kite sume sedar akan perkara itu :)


Nama rabbit ni 'Bintang', izzaidah's rabbit. comel kan? at least boleh mengubati kerinduan saya pada rabbit2 saya kat bandung. Jenis ape saya tak sure, n jantina die pun tak tau. Tapi sian kat Bintang sbb partner die yg name Buncit dah mati digigit kucing bulan lepas..isk..isk.. Si bintang ni gemar sgt berdiri n bdn die sgt panjang n flexible. Ini teman kami kat rumah sbb rumah ni agak sunyi sbb kekurangan kanak2 riang.huhu

ini pelajaran baru saya pagi tadi.hehe. belajar buat MEE LAKSA secara manual. Selama ni, saya wat mi laksa segera guna mi yg dah beli kt kedai, then panaskan + rendam - then makan. Tapi buat mi sendiri pun best jugak..rase pure mee laksa. Tak susah pun. Gambar2 kat atas tu saya amek khas utk tatapan sesiapa yg tak pernah tgk lagi org buat mi laksa.heeee. Itu sebenarnya tangan mak saye, tp saye pun tolong buat jugak, selain tolong buat kacau :)

Aktiviti hari ni, pergi majlis kahwin kawan kepada kak wahidah, juge merangkap my senior kat sekolah dulu. On da way tu, saje la xde keje capture gmbr kt jalan. Gmbr tepi laut yg sgt saye rindu..huhu..

Ni gmbr2 sekitar majlis tu. amek sikit je.hihi. Selamat pengantin baru kepade kak Faridah Chalo dan suaminya Azlan. Kak Ida ni org Sabah, husband nye orang Kelantan. Sweet couple :)
